The Syntegra Limited Flexible Pension Plan (SLFPP)
This was a small scheme set up some time ago for new employees of what was Syntegra Limited. It had been closed to new employees for some time, as Syntegra had been integrated with the rest of BT: new employees in what in the past would have been Syntegra were thereafter employed in BT on BT plc contracts and they would have joined the BTRP.

The SLFPP was a defined contribution scheme and a poor scheme for similar reasons to the BTRP. The basic contribution levels from employee and employer were insufficient to provide for a decent pension at retirement and - like the BTRP - it also provided only minimal protection against death in service and medical retirement.
