During the application process your monthly subscription rate will be determined by the information you enter. In general membership costs £15.95 per month payable by direct debit.

A reduced rate of £11.60 applies:

• if you work for a company where Prospect Connect sector does not yet have a relationship with the employer
• if you work as a freelance contractor

A reduced rate of £7.95 applies:

• if your income is less than £20,000 per annum, exclusive of allowances
• if you are on the BT, Yell or O2 graduate programme (for the first year of membership)

If you seek help with a problem which has arisen prior to you joining Prospect you will be liable to pay up to 12 months' back subscriptions, and we reserve the right to limit support to one-off advice over the phone. You will not be entitled to be represented by Prospect in any meetings or hearings dealing with that problem.

If you have previously been a Prospect or Connect member and are re-joining the union, you will be treated as other new members as regards your eligibility for membership benefits and services.
