The union's Conferences are part of the formal democratic process by which the union's leadership is accountable to delegated members from around the union. Equally importantly, they provide an opportunity for members to

• Review actions and plan for the future
• Set or amend policies
• Hold informal discussions about important issues
• Network and get to know other members
• Find out more about the union's services
