Services
To access all schemes mentioned on this page via our website, you will need to be logged in to the 'members only' section.

re-connect services are all listed here - and most are available to other members of your family, too. If you are already a member of re-connect, please log in to the site now to get the contact information for these services. To join re-connect, call the union on 020 8971 6000 during normal office hours and we'll sort it out for you. The cost is £36 a year and you will need your bank details so that you can set up a direct debit. If you are a union member transferring to re-connect, just call and we can sort that too. We can also offer a dual membership option, at a discounted rate, with UNITE, the Federation of Royal Mail and BT Pensioners.

LegalLine

If you or a member of your family needs legal help for a problem (excluding work-related issues), you can ring the Legal Line. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Personal injury
We offer free legal assistance if you or your partner has an accident or suffers injury for which a third party is likely to be responsible. The Personal Injury Line is open during the same hours as Legal Line (see above). 
 
Opus2 Careers Advice Service
We can also help if your children or grandchildren find their career is in a bit of a rut, or haven't really planned how to achieve their ambition. The union offers telephone-based careers counselling, undertaken by experienced specialists, to help make the next move and clarify goals. We also undertake contract work with large companies.  

Help Desk
The union's Help Desk is open Monday - Friday from 9am to 5.15pm. They will be able to give you advice or put you in touch with the right person.

Mortgages                                                                                                                                    mortgageforce has access to the whole of the mortgage market, providing a full range of leading mortgage lenders.

Discount shopping scheme
re-connect members can also use a discount shopping scheme which provides money off at major high street stores. Vouchers can be purchased over the telephone or from the 'services' section of this website. Or, if you prefer, you can download a voucher order form from the website and send it off with a cheque.

Conveyancing
Absolute is the UK's leading provider of e-conveyancing and can provide re-connect members and their families with a fixed cost, high quality service. This includes a fully transparent transaction, 24 hour access to a secure personal file, e-messaging to/from your solicitor, and if the sale does not complete there are no legal fees to pay, only disbursements incurred. This service is also available over the telephone, if you would prefer to deal that way.

Energy Comparison Service
